MHP/Team SI Names Kristen Nicholson, APR, Shareholder

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (November 15, 2023) – MHP/Team SI has named Kristen Nicholson, APR, the agency’s vice president of public relations, as its newest shareholder, joining shareholder Lannie Byrd and longtime partners, C.C. “Chip” Culpepper, David Rainwater, Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl and Tim Whitley.

“Kristen is not only a proven leader, but she’s also a nationally recognized public relations professional and has been instrumental in propelling the agency’s growth in the areas of social media, influencer marketing, NIL and public relations,” said Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, president and CEO of MHP/Team SI. “Kristen’s passion for the business and constant innovation has been a tremendous asset to the agency during her 12 year tenure. As we look towards the future, we’re excited to recognize her as an agency shareholder.” 

Nicholson joined MHP/Team SI in 2011 as a public relations account executive. She has consistently risen the ranks since then and was promoted to vice president of public relations in 2019.

Named to the inaugural Arkansas Money & Politics Future 50 list, Nicholson holds bachelor’s degrees in journalism and political science from UA-Little Rock. A nationally recognized PR professional, Nicholson is a two-time PRSA Silver Anvil Award Winner for community outreach campaigns, two-time PRSA Silver Anvil Excellence Award Winner for crisis communications and media outreach and recognized by PR Daily for effective healthcare crisis communications campaigns. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America – the industry’s standard for professionalism and ethics and is the past president of the Public Relations Society of America, Arkansas Chapter. She also serves on the state board for Junior Achievement of Arkansas, the Leadership Greater Little Rock Advisory Board, is a member of Little Rock Rotary Club 99 and is a member of the PRSA Arkansas Chapter Past Presidents Council.
