MHP/Team SI observes the Great Arkansas Cleanup

Mangan Holcomb Partners (MHP) and Team SI’s frightening and fun creatures gathered Friday afternoon for “Litter Is Scary,” a festive cleanup of MacArthur Park in downtown Little Rock.

Volunteers donned their spooky and quirky costumes to pick up litter before the park’s Balloon Glow and Mac-O-Lantern festival. The group also planted 13 trees weighing roughly 200 pounds. The Halloween-themed cleanup is part of MHP/Team SI’s ongoing participation in initiatives that improve the community.

“MHP/Team SI has been an active member of Little Rock’s downtown community for over 40 years,” said Chip Culpepper, chief creative officer with MHP and a board chairman for MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. “We applaud MacArthur Park’s dedication to preserving the history of this great state and we were happy to help them spruce up before the festival.”

“Litter Is Scary” was one of the last cleanups of this year’s Great Arkansas Cleanup, a statewide initiative promoted each fall by Keep Arkansas Beautiful. Each year, thousands of Arkansans volunteer to pick up litter along the state’s roadways and waterways, parks and public areas during this event.
