Mangan Holcomb Partners (MHP)/Team SI was awarded nine Prism Awards last night at the Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) ARCom event. The agency’s work with Arkansas 529, a tax-advantaged college savings plan, was of particular note, demonstrating its continued growth in the 529 financial industry.
“We are proud of the work we do for each of our clients, and this recognition for Arkansas 529 is the same,” said Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, Principal/President at MHP/Team SI. “It is an honor to be recognized as we continue to break the mold and be intentionally inventive in the 529 industry.”
In an effort to promote the Arkansas 529 program, the state Office of Treasurer launched a Coloring for College initiative during National Save for College Month. The goal was to increase the number of accounts and secure participation in 25 Arkansas counties. Through a variety of grassroots public relations efforts, the campaign resulted in entries from 49 counties and increased new assets to more than $30 million over the prior year.
For its work with the office, the agency received a Prism Award in the category Community Relations – Nonprofit. It received another eight awards as well:
-Institutional Programs – Nonprofit (Pulaski Technical College’s Dig Deeper campaign)
-Public Service (Keep Arkansas Beautiful)
-Public Relations on a Shoe String Budget (Dave & Buster’s Grand Opening)
