MHP/Team SI Partners to Provide Pro-Bono Marketing Support to Women’s Foundation of Arkansas Grantees

MHP/Team SI, one of Arkansas’ largest full-service marketing agencies, announced today a partnership with the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA), providing pro-bono marketing services to its recent grant recipients.

“In Arkansas, more women own businesses than men, but often receive less support,” said Anna Beth Gorman, executive director of WFA. “When we surveyed grant applicants and recipients, the data showed that women in business list marketing support as their number one need. MHP/Team SI’s expertise is invaluable to enhance our ability to equip these women-owned businesses for success.”

Arkansas women-owned businesses experiencing economic hardship due to COVID-19 that employ 50 individuals or fewer will be eligible to apply for the grants as long as all their taxes are current and they are operated by law with all required permits.

“We are excited about this strategic outreach initiative for the ladies of MHP/Team SI to have a direct impact as women in business on women-owned businesses,” said Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, President & CEO of MHP/Team SI and 2017 Women’s Foundation of Arkansas Woman of the Year in Business. “Our agency is full of talented women who are eager to share their skills with these grant recipients and help them better market themselves and their businesses. It is an honor to partner with the WFA as they continue to support women and girls in Arkansas.”

In the next year, grant recipients will receive personalized training and counsel from the agency, as well as a series of on-demand webinars which will provide basic information on marketing best practices.

MHP/Team SI is a longtime supporter of the WFA’s Power of the Purse, Girls in STEM and was honored by WFA as being among Arkansas’ most Equitable Workplaces based on policies and practices in support of women.

“This contribution of services takes the agency’s commitment to supporting women, especially in Arkansas, to the next level – equipping them with the tools they need to grow their businesses,” said Vogelpohl.
