MHP’s Jones joins AUFC board of directors

Mangan Holcomb Partners’ Colbie Jones, of Stuttgart, has been elected to serve on the Arkansas Urban Forestry Council (AUFC), a nonprofit focused on the conservation of urban and community trees across the state. Jones was elected to the council along with Lisa Tribble, of Mabelvale.

Jones will serve on the board providing AUFC with communications and marketing strategies to further AUFC’s mission and efforts across the state. She currently serves as a marketing account executive for Mangan Holcomb Partners and is the vice president of professional development for the Arkansas chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Jones previously assisted with implementing public relations efforts to raise awareness of the council’s second annual Natural State Tree Climbing Championship.

“Myself and our current board members are excited to welcome our new appointees to help further AUFC’s conservation efforts for urban and community trees,” said Anthony Whittington, AUFC board president. “Their combined experience will help us reach more Arkansas communities, and share the value of good urban forest policies and management.”
