MHP/Team SI announced today that Kristin Chacko has been promoted to vice president of technology at the agency.
In her new role, Chacko will continue to manage technology projects for the agency and its clients, including providing strategic counsel and expertise for all work in the development department. “We are continually impressed by Kristin’s diverse skill set and business acumen,” said Sharon Tallach Vogelpohl, President & CEO of MHP/Team SI. “She has pioneered innovations within our agency and for our clients and we look forward to her continued leadership.”
Since joining the MHP/Team SI team as a technical project manager in 2017, Chacko has implemented new processes and technologies that enable the agency to better support its clients and continue to keep each party on the cutting edge of the ever-changing technology landscape. Under her leadership, the agency has launched nearly 300 websites and has grown its development team from 10 to more than 30 employees.
“Kristin’s forward-looking vision and attention to detail are critical to our technology roadmap,” said Alex Hood, Chief Technology Officer at the agency. “She is a truly effective strategic leader and has the ability to keep current projects on target while always anticipating what’s next. Her technical expertise, natural leadership ability, and drive for excellence will continue to play a key role in the success and growth of MHP/Team SI.”
Chacko previously worked with Acxiom, as well as St. Louis-based start-up Label Insight, where she managed the delivery of medium to large complex, multi-phased marketing and data technology products. Prior to that, Chacko worked on contract at Google, where she helped prepare a new product’s support operations and quality assurance teams for market launch, which included a quick stint facilitating training offshore teams in the Philippines.
Chacko received a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism and English from William Woods University and a master’s in photojournalism from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing a master’s of business administration degree and a second master’s degree in strategic management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
